Haryana's PGIMS Rohtak Lands 5th in India's Top Medical Colleges

The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, has been recognized nationally, achieving the 5th rank in the IIRF India Rankings, 2026. This significant accomplishment marks it as the leading medical college in Haryana and places it among India's top five medical institutions.

The institute's success extends to its allied health disciplines. The Dental College secured the sixth position nationally, the College of Physiotherapy ranked fourth, and the College of Pharmacy achieved ninth place. PGIMS was also lauded as one of North India's top four institutions across these medical fields.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. HK Aggarwal highlighted the recognition as a testament to the institution's dedication to quality medical education, patient care, and research. He noted a focus on infrastructure enhancement, super-specialty service expansion, and research promotion.

Registrar Dr. Roop Singh attributed this success to transparent administration and adherence to standards, citing investments in simulation labs and modern curricula. Executive Director and Dean Dr. Ashok Chauhan mentioned that advanced facilities, including a trauma center and 24/7 emergency services, attract patients from Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and the Delhi-NCR.
