Odisha's Special OTET 2025 Exam Sees 66.5% Pass Rate, Digital Certificates Available

On November 15, 2025, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha released the results of the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (Special OTET/SOTET) 2025. This year, a total of 75,403 candidates had registered for the exam, which was conducted on September 27 for in-service teachers across the state.
Of the total registered candidates, 72,413 have qualified, including 48,153 who passed both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The overall pass percentage stands at 66.50%. Paper 1 had a pass rate of 47.17%, while Paper 2 saw a higher pass rate of 78.35%.
Qualified candidates can now download their digital certificates from the board's website until January 15, 2026 (midnight) after paying the required fee. Those who did not qualify can also download their OMR answer sheets from the same website until November 22, starting at 4 PM today.
