The Odisha Class 10 board examination results were declared on May 2, revealing a remarkable 95.33% pass rate among the 5,36,306 students who appeared for the exams. A total of 5,19,251 students successfully passed, marking a significant academic achievement for the state's students. School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond announced the results, highlighting the overall success.
This year's results saw girls outperforming boys, with more female students achieving success in the examinations. In a pioneering move, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will now issue certificates in the Odia language, in addition to the existing English version. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility and promote the regional language.
The results are accessible on the BSE websites (bseodisha.ac.in and bseodisha.nic.in) from 7 pm onwards on May 2. For students seeking further options, registration for the supplementary examination will commence on May 8 and conclude on May 18, with the tests scheduled for July. Students also have the opportunity to apply online for rechecking and obtain copies of their answer sheets starting Monday.
