The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension for the NIFTEE 2026 registration, pushing the deadline to January 13, 2026. This revised schedule, initiated following a request from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), aims to accommodate a larger applicant pool. The extension is particularly beneficial due to the inclusion of new examination cities.
The NIFTEE 2026 will be conducted for admissions to various programs including Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Lateral Entry, Artisan, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) for the 2026-27 academic session. All other existing eligibility criteria, the exam pattern, and admission guidelines will remain unchanged. The examination is scheduled to be held across 102 cities throughout India.
Admissions will be processed for a range of programs. Candidates applying under specific categories such as NRI, Foreign National, OCI, PIO, and SAARC will undergo a direct admission process facilitated by NIFT. Details regarding the exam date, center, and shift will be communicated via the admit card.
