Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan chaired a high-level review meeting on Thursday to assess the preparedness for the NEET-UG re-examination slated for June 21. Minister Pradhan stressed the paramount importance of upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency throughout the examination process. He urged all responsible authorities to remain vigilant and fully prepared to conduct the re-examination in a free and fair manner. The NTA is actively collaborating with various stakeholders, including district-level coordination committees, state police departments, and intelligence agencies.
Designated ministry officials will be deployed to states to oversee coordination efforts, reporting to a command centre led by the NTA Director General. Nodal officers from state governments were also instructed to ensure students receive necessary facilities for a stress-free examination experience. The meeting, conducted in a hybrid mode, covered examination preparedness, security protocols, logistical arrangements, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
