NEET UG Counselling 2026: Key Dates Extended!

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a revised schedule for Round 1 of the NEET UG Counselling 2026. This adjustment includes an extension for candidate registration and fee payment, which will now be accepted until August 15, 2026. The registration will close at 2 pm, followed by fee payment until 5 pm on the same day.
The window for choice filling has also been extended, remaining open until 6 pm on August 17, 2026. Candidates will have the opportunity to lock their selections between 10 am and 6 pm on August 17. The MCC will then process the seat allotment on August 18, with the official Round 1 seat allotment results to be declared on August 19, 2026.
Following the declaration of results, candidates who have been allotted seats are required to report to their respective institutions for admission and verification purposes. The reporting and joining period is scheduled from August 20 to August 25, 2026, with the final verification of joined candidates taking place on August 26, 2026. The MCC oversees counselling for undergraduate medical courses like MBBS and BDS.
