Medical Dream Closer: NEET UG 2026 Results Declared

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET UG 2026 results on July 17, 2026, concluding the wait for approximately 20 lakh medical aspirants. Candidates can now access their scorecards on the official website. More than 11.21 lakh students have qualified for undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and allied health science programs.

The NEET UG 2026 examination took place on June 21 across 5,440 centers in 551 Indian cities and 14 international locations, administered in 13 languages. The timely declaration aims to facilitate the commencement of the medical counselling process.

Punjab's Aryan Gupta and Haryana's Panshul Bansal achieved the top rank, each scoring 715 out of 720 marks. Aryan Gupta shared his elation, describing the success as a dream realized after extensive preparation, dedicating 16-17 hours daily during the final study phase.

Gupta's motivation to pursue oncology stems from a childhood experience witnessing his grandmother's battle with cancer. He advises future aspirants to remain persistent and committed, emphasizing that consistent hard work eventually leads to recognition and reward.

With results out, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will manage counselling for the 15% All India Quota seats, while state authorities will handle admissions for state quota seats. Candidates are urged to verify information solely through official channels and beware of fraudulent entities promising admissions or score enhancements.
