NEET UG Refund: Bank Details Correction Window Opens!
15 Jun
Summary
- NTA will reopen the bank detail correction window for NEET UG refunds.
- Candidates must verify their bank details for successful fee refund.
- NTA warns against fraudsters offering to expedite refunds.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is providing NEET UG candidates another chance to update their bank account details for fee refunds. This initiative follows the cancellation of the earlier NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on May 3. All refunds will be directly transferred to the bank accounts provided by students via the official portal.
To prevent refund delays, candidates are strongly advised to meticulously verify their account number, IFSC code, and account holder's name. The NTA will open a separate correction window after the examination to address incorrect banking information or verification issues. This will allow students to make necessary amendments.
Simultaneously, the NTA has issued a critical warning about potential fraudsters. Students should disregard any unsolicited calls, messages, or emails claiming to expedite refunds. The agency explicitly stated that it never requests OTPs, passwords, or payment for refund processing.
Preparations for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination are ongoing alongside this refund exercise. Further details on the post-examination correction facility will be communicated through official channels. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the NTA website for announcements.
