NEET UG 2026: All Candidates Get Bonus Marks Amidst Answer Key Row

Registered candidates for NEET UG 2026 have until 11:50 PM on June 28, 2026, to submit objections to the provisional answer key. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that one Physics question has been dropped, and consequently, all candidates will be awarded 4 bonus marks. Furthermore, for another Physics question, two answer options have been deemed correct, with marks allocated to students who selected either. Challenges can be lodged via the official NEET UG portal, requiring a prescribed fee of Rs 200 per question.

After the challenge window closes, subject experts will review all valid objections. The NTA will then release the final answer key, which will be the basis for the NEET UG 2026 results. No further challenges will be accepted once the final key is published. Discrepancies have also been noted in Chemistry, Biology, and Zoology, suggesting potential for additional revisions before the final answer key is announced. Candidates are urged to submit their challenges well before the June 28 deadline to avoid technical issues.
