- A retest was held for candidates affected by technical issues in Jaipur.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is anticipated to release the NEET PG 2026 answer key and individual response sheets imminently on its official platform. This key medical entrance examination was conducted nationwide on August 30, 2026, with a total of 2,65,980 candidates participating. For a subset of 2,445 candidates, a re-examination was necessitated on September 5, 2026, due to technical disruptions experienced at specific centers in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
In recent communications, the NBEMS issued a clarification, regretting an inadvertent error in emails sent to some candidates. These emails incorrectly stated the examination date as September 5, 2026, instead of the actual August 30, 2026 date, although other details like Aadhaar authentication timings were correct. The board expressed its apologies for any confusion this oversight may have caused.
