A 20-year-old National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) aspirant from Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, was found deceased in her rented flat in Kota, Rajasthan. The student resided in Kota with her younger sister since July and was preparing for the NEET exam at a coaching institute.
Her younger sister discovered her after she did not respond to knocks on the door following her coaching classes. Alerted by other residents, the flat was opened, revealing the elder sister hanging inside. Police arrived at the scene and transported her to MBS Hospital, where she was declared dead by doctors.
Authorities have stated that no suicide note was recovered from the premises. The body is currently in the hospital mortuary, awaiting a postmortem examination once her family arrives in Kota. Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
