- Youth recorded video citing weariness of exam cycle.
- NEET exam was previously postponed due to alleged irregularities.

A 22-year-old medical aspirant, Jatin Kumar, was found dead in his Pratap Vihar residence in Ghaziabad on Friday morning. The tragic discovery occurred just two days before the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was set to take place on June 21. His family reported that he had been pacing in his room until midnight before they retired for the night.
Upon waking the following morning, family members found Jatin unresponsive on the floor and immediately contacted emergency services. Police recovered a video from his mobile phone, timestamped around midnight and apparently recorded shortly before his death. In the video, Jatin expressed his fatigue with the prolonged exam preparation process and a desire for a different path.
This incident follows the earlier cancellation of the May 3 entrance exam by the National Testing Agency due to allegations of paper leaks and other irregularities. The postponement of the NEET exam had added to the stress and pressure experienced by many aspirants.
