Tragedy struck Nadiad when Jay Vijaykumar Patil, a 21-year-old first-year nursing student, was found deceased at his residence on Monday. A suicide note left by Patil addressed to his mother vehemently denied accusations of body-shaming female professors and stated he was being falsely implicated.
Jay Patil had only been enrolled in the nursing program for three months. His suicide note, now with the police, expressed deep distress over being misunderstood and humiliated, asserting he was blamed without proof and would accept responsibility for mistakes. His father, Vijay Patil, has leveled serious accusations against the college administration, claiming his son was deliberately isolated and subjected to extreme pressure.
