Organized by eight prominent medical colleges and led by AIIMS Delhi, the literary festival Oracle concluded on January 18, 2026. The event, held from January 16 to 18, brought together medical students from across Delhi for a celebration of creativity and intellectual engagement.
Participants showcased their talents in various activities, including quizzes, debates, and extempore speaking, offering a refreshing break from their rigorous academic schedules. A highlight was the 'Awaaz' open mic event, where students recited self-written poetry, with Padma Shri laureate Dr Ashok Chakradhar serving as the judge.
The festival featured insightful panel discussions with distinguished medical professionals and authors. Speakers included Dr R.L Bijlani, Dr Debraj Shome, Dr Tanaya Narendra, and Dr Tripti Sharan. The event underscored the belief that creativity and empathy are vital components of medical education, nurturing doctors not just as clinicians but as compassionate thinkers.
