Marking Earth Day, INTACH Lucknow organized the city round of its national poster-making competition, 'Tree of Life', at La Martiniere College. The event aimed to engage students in celebrating nature and heritage.
A 'Nature and Heritage Trail', guided by former IFS officer Mohammad Ahsan and historian AK Srivastava, commenced the day. This interactive session encouraged students to embrace their role as environmental custodians.
Following the trail, approximately 85 students from classes 7-9 showcased their creativity in a poster-making competition. They visually represented the ecological significance and biodiversity supported by indigenous trees and shrubs, reinforcing messages of conservation.
