A grave incident has occurred at a private school in Lucknow's cantonment area, where a class 5 student allegedly sustained severe injuries, leading to the loss of vision in one eye. The alleged assault took place on January 21st around 12:30 PM during school hours, within the school playground.

According to the victim's mother, students from another section attacked her son, resulting in him being pushed to the ground and subjected to punches and kicks. The attackers reportedly used a shoe heel against the child's eye and face, causing significant harm.

The injured student is currently receiving treatment at Command Hospital and is unable to see from the affected eye. Following the incident, the mother approached the school administration without success before filing a complaint with the cantonment police.
