Kindness in Court: Lawyers Pay Student's Fees

A third-year engineering student at MVSR Engineering College, S Rochitha Sankar, has been granted relief by the Telangana High Court, preventing her from losing an academic year. The student explained that her father's death on May 12, 2025, led to financial difficulties, making it impossible to clear her dues. Despite her previous timely payments up to the fifth semester, the college's decision on June 22, 2025, left her unable to register for examinations.
During the court proceedings, senior advocates L Ravi Chander and S Sri Ram offered to cover the remaining fee balance. Justice Juvvadi Sridevi acknowledged this as a special circumstance and directed the college to reinstate her on the registration portal, permitting her to take her end-of-semester exams.
