The student, identified as Satkar Singh from Sirsa district, jumped before a moving train on the Delhi-Mumbai railway line. Satkar had been preparing for JEE in Kota for two years while residing in a hostel. While no suicide note was found, the train's loco-pilot reported that the teen intentionally jumped. Following the arrival of his family on Monday, police registered a case under Section 108 of the BNS (Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita) for abetment to suicide.
