The national final of the IndianOil Science Quiz 3.0, a distinguished pan-India science competition, recently concluded in Mumbai. Champion schools from eight metropolitan areas, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and New Delhi, converged for the grand finale.
The event commenced with an engaging 'Best of IndianOil Science Quiz 3.0' segment, drawing participation from over 475 students representing 50 schools. Following this, IIT-B professor Abhijit Majumder delivered an illuminating lecture on the critical role of scientific thinking in national development.
Ultimately, Delhi Public School Megacity in Kolkata, represented by Devayudh Das and Iraj Singh, clinched the national championship title with an impressive 96 points. Mitra Academy of Bengaluru secured the second position, with Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram from Chennai taking third place. Winners and finalists were honored with trophies, certificates, and cash prizes, alongside their teacher mentors.
