Last month, on October 11, 2025, the department of basic science and humanities at KDK College of Engineering organized the 42nd Fresher's Day to welcome the BTech first-year students of the 2025-26 batch. The celebration began with a prayer, and the event was graced by chief guest Dr. Urvashi Yashroy, a life coach and NLP trainer, as well as the college's principal, Dr. VP Verghese, vice-principal, Dr. AM Badar, and first-year in-charge, Dr. GH Agrawal.
The dignitaries' motivational addresses inspired the students to set goals and pursue excellence. Toppers of the first test were then felicitated, followed by vibrant performances in dance, singing, and a talent show. A flash mob added to the excitement of the entire program. The event concluded with a DJ session, spreading joy and camaraderie among the students.
