A special cleanliness drive recently took place in selected government schools throughout Kanpur's Nyaya Panchayats. District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh has mandated the formation of sanitation teams and the creation of regular cleaning rosters for all government schools in the district.
The initiative focused on clearing overgrown grass and bushes within school premises, properly disposing of collected waste, and managing accumulated water. Responsibilities for this campaign were assigned to various block development officers, assistant development officers, block education officers, and child development project officers.
To ensure effective oversight and continuous monitoring of the sanitation drive's implementation across numerous schools, a dedicated call center has been established at the Vikas Bhawan.
