The college's principal, Prof. (Dr) Pavitra Bhardwaj, explained that the theme was selected to uplift young women and help them grow more confident for the world beyond college. "The future is through women, and initiatives like this encourage them to take their first step towards independence and not just become job seekers but job employers through their own startups," she said.
Students like Nandini Yadav and Anahita Johar displayed their entrepreneurial projects, including handmade ribbon and pipe cleaner flowers, and recycled clothing. The mela also featured cultural performances, an anti-cracker rally, and a plant sale organized by various student societies.
The event aimed to inspire students to pursue their own ventures and build confidence as future entrepreneurs. With its mix of culture, creativity, and empowerment, 'Navdeep 25' reflected the spirit of celebration and innovation while supporting young women in Delhi.
