Kalahandi District Launches Free Coaching Program with Vision IAS

In a significant move, the Kalahandi district administration in Odisha has partnered with Vision IAS, a leading coaching institute in New Delhi, to provide free coaching to a group of 60 students each year. The agreement was signed on Independence Day, as part of Vision IAS's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Under the terms of the MOU, the district administration will provide the necessary infrastructure facilities, while Vision IAS will be responsible for imparting the free coaching. The selection of students will be based on a written test and interview, with registrations starting from August 22nd and the examination scheduled for September 21st.

This is the first such venture in Odisha's Kalahandi district, which has been identified as an aspirational district by the NITI Aayog for focused development under the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP). The selected students will receive coaching from experts in Bhawanipatna, the district headquarters, starting from the first week of October.

Vision IAS has previously undertaken similar initiatives in the interiors of aspirational districts in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The partnership with Kalahandi district is expected to provide a valuable opportunity for underprivileged students to access high-quality coaching and improve their chances of success in competitive examinations.
