JKBOSE Announces Exam Dates, Grants 15% Syllabus Relaxation

On October 24, 2025, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced the upcoming examination schedule for Class 10, 11, and 12 students. The Class 10 exams will commence on November 3, followed by Class 12 on November 8, and Class 11 on November 19.
The JKBOSE Secretary revealed that around 95,000 students will appear for the Class 10 exams, 82,000 for Class 11, and 70,000 for Class 12. To provide relief to students who faced academic disruptions, the board has approved a 15% relaxation in the syllabus for this session.
The Secretary emphasized that the board has made all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth exam conduct, even in far-flung regions. This includes the secure storage of confidential materials in local police stations and adequate logistical support. The Secretary urged students to face challenges with resilience, stating that "true parenting means allowing children to face challenges -- it builds resilience and confidence in them."
