JEECUP 2026 Exam Dates Shifted: New Schedule Released!

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced a revised schedule for its 2026 polytechnic and diploma entrance examinations. The UPJEE Polytechnic will now be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2026. This rescheduling follows numerous requests from prospective candidates and aims to extend the deadline for answer sheet submissions.

Initially slated for May 15-22, the exam dates were adjusted. The application form deadline was previously extended to May 10, with fee payments due by May 12. Candidates are informed that their admit cards will be accessible online from May 25, 2026, at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

The JEECUP exam, a gateway to polytechnic and diploma courses in Uttar Pradesh, is administered via computer-based testing. The examination will be offered in both English and Hindi and will last for two and a half hours. It comprises 100 multiple-choice questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a marking scheme of +4 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect ones, and no penalty for unattempted questions.

Following the exam and result declaration, candidates proceed to an online counseling process, seat allotment, and document verification. Final seat confirmation involves fee payment, typically occurring in June or July. Applicants are urged to monitor the official JEECUP website for the latest updates regarding admit card publication and other essential details.
