Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) recently held its 8th annual Smt. Jyoti Dwivedi Memorial Scholarship Awards ceremony on April 2, 2026. The event recognized six deserving second-year M.M.S. students with a total of Rs 4 lakh in scholarships.
Hemin Khona and Rushikesh Metangale each received a core scholarship of Rs 1 lakh. Additionally, Varun Karia, Yash Nahata, Namrata Janyani, and Bhushan Ghule were awarded ad hoc scholarships of Rs 50,000 each. These awards are granted based on academic achievement, overall accomplishments, and financial need.
The scholarship was established in 2019 by JBIMS alumnus Nimish Dwivedi, a 1993 batch graduate, to honor his late mother, Smt. Jyoti Dwivedi. The initiative supports outstanding management students, providing financial aid to bolster their education and career progression. This year's ceremony featured Sandeep Kohli, CEO of Novel Jewels (Aditya Birla Group) and a former Unilever executive, as the Chief Guest, inspiring the students with his address.
