In just a few days, on November 14, 2025, the 8th edition of the School Cinema International Film Festival (SCIFF) will kick off, bringing the world of cinema to over 41,000 schools across India. The festival, which runs until November 30, will screen more than 100 carefully curated films from 25 countries, including France, Spain, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, and the UAE.
SCIFF, formerly known as the International Kids Film Festival, has evolved into a transformative educational initiative that combines art, learning, and social awareness. The festival follows a "WATCH, LEARN, MAKE" framework, immersing students in every aspect of filmmaking, from emotional storytelling to hands-on workshops on scriptwriting, cinematography, and editing.
