IIM Udaipur Celebrates First Executive MBA Graduates

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) marked a new chapter with its first Convocation Ceremony for the Executive MBA Class of 2026. Professor Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur, presided over the event, which saw 165 graduates receive their degrees.
Mr. Abhay Baijal, Managing Director of Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited, was the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation Address. During the ceremony, Amiya Bhushan was awarded the "Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, Award for Scholastic Merit" Gold Medal for her outstanding academic performance.
The EMBA program is a two-year online initiative designed for working professionals, featuring campus immersions. Director Banerjee highlighted IIMU's expanding academic initiatives, including an online bilingual BBA program and a Harvard Business Impact partnership. He encouraged graduates to lead with integrity and empathy.
Mr. Baijal advised graduates to continuously learn and apply knowledge effectively in a technology-driven world, emphasizing the enduring importance of human skills. Professor Vijayta Doshi, Dean-Programs, urged graduates to lead with integrity and social responsibility, welcoming them as alumni.
IIM Udaipur is recognized globally, holding AACSB accreditation and consistent listings in the Financial Times (FT) Global MIM Ranking and QS Global MIM Ranking for seven consecutive years. It also ranks 4th in India for research in management.
