Hugh Jackman to Speak at Ball State Graduation

Hugh Jackman is scheduled to address Ball State University's graduating Class of 2026 at the spring commencement ceremony on May 2. The event, held in the Quad, will celebrate approximately 2,800 students receiving their doctoral, specialist, master's, and baccalaureate degrees. As part of the ceremony, Ball State will also bestow upon Jackman an honorary arts degree.
This will be Jackman's third visit to the Ball State campus in Muncie, Indiana. He previously accompanied his partner, instructor Sutton Foster, in September and returned in November to host a screening of his film "Song Sung Blue." Ball State president Geoffrey S. Mearns expressed gratitude for Jackman's willingness to share his time and talent with the university community.
