This push for new hires follows a review meeting where the education minister urged departments to expedite pending recruitments and strengthen the overall hiring mechanism. The goal is to ensure all schools have sufficient teaching and support personnel.
Beyond staffing, the state is committed to enhancing educational infrastructure. All eligible schools are slated to receive smart classrooms by November 2026. Additionally, 250 schools will be developed into model institutions under special state schemes.
The NIPUN Haryana Mission has also been expanded to include Class V, focusing on strengthening learning support from early childhood education through Class IV and boosting student enrollment.
School management committees have been empowered with increased financial authority for infrastructure projects, allowing them to undertake works up to Rs 25 lakh.
