Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is expanding its offerings for the 2026-27 academic year, with over 40,000 seats available across 230 undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. Online registrations are scheduled to commence on February 2. The university has unveiled its admission brochure, detailing an intake of 37,419 undergraduate seats, 5,316 postgraduate seats, and 22 PhD seats, with 85% reserved for Delhi candidates.
The university is introducing 24 new programs, including a three-year LLB, and has affiliated nine additional institutions. Admissions will leverage national tests like CUET, NEET, and JEE, alongside GGSIPU's own Common Entrance Test (CET), with an expected 1.5 to 2 lakh applicants for CET. This strategy aims to minimize vacant seats, following a successful admission cycle last year where BTech intake surpassed 10,000.
