IIT Madras Pravartak has introduced a complimentary training program, "AI for K12 Teachers," specifically designed for rural educators. The 40-hour curriculum, delivered in English, delves into various AI applications including generative tools, prompt engineering, gamification, and storytelling. It also covers AI-driven lesson planning, student engagement through AR/VR, and AI-enabled assessment techniques.
Registration for this valuable initiative closes on January 31, 2026. To earn a certificate, participants must successfully complete a post-course MCQ-based virtual proctored exam. The first 500 rural school teachers to finish the program will be awarded a completion certificate at no cost.
