The squad comprises students from various disciplines, tasked with observing senior-junior student dynamics and flagging any potential ragging. This initiative is a direct response to ragging incidents that occurred last year at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), which garnered significant attention.
A five-member anti-ragging committee, including university officials and student representatives, will oversee the squad's operations. The university also plans widespread awareness campaigns to educate students on the consequences of ragging, aiming for a safer, more welcoming campus environment.
