The highest salary package offered to CU students in this field reached ₹22 LPA, a notable increase from previous years. The average salary package also saw a slight rise, from ₹3.4 LPA in 2025 to ₹3.5 LPA in 2026, indicating sustained demand for CU graduates.
Specifically, 315 students found employment in five-star hotels, Quick Service Restaurants, and Retail Management companies. Top recruiters in the hotel management sector included prestigious names like The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, and Marriott International. The aviation and travel management sectors saw 210 students placed in companies such as GMR Airports Limited and IndiGo, with the highest package in this area being ₹10 LPA.
Chandigarh University attributes this success to its industry-aligned curriculum, practical training using software like Opera PMS and Amadeus, and strong industry partnerships. The university ensures students gain hands-on experience through internships and industry visits, preparing them for successful careers in the dynamic tourism, hospitality, and aviation industries.
