The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated an online correction facility for the CTET 2026 application form, which is available from September 7 to September 10, 2026. This development comes as the board is anticipated to announce revised examination dates for the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) shortly.
The registration portal had previously reopened on August 25, closing on September 1, 2026, offering a second chance for applications. The Supreme Court has highlighted the importance of giving eligible teachers adequate time to meet the statutory TET qualification requirements.
Candidates who successfully submitted their applications between May 11 and June 10, 2026, can also utilize this correction window to amend their submitted particulars. The CTET exam structure includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question worth one mark and no provision for negative marking.
