The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 is underway today, December 7, marking a crucial step for aspiring law students seeking admission to National Law Universities. The examination is being held across numerous cities nationwide, with stringent guidelines in place for candidates.
To ensure a smooth process, attendees are advised to wear light, half-sleeved clothing and open footwear. Electronic gadgets, metallic items, and bags are strictly prohibited within the examination hall. A special note has been issued for candidates appearing at the Lucknow centre regarding a venue change.
Following the exam, the Consortium of National Law Universities will release a provisional answer key by December 14, allowing candidates a period to raise objections. Successful candidates must then complete a separate counselling registration, with differing fees based on category, to secure their admission.
