Registrations are open for the Chemistry Olympiad Exposure Camp 2026, targeting teachers of Classes 10 to 12. This four-day event, scheduled from November 16 to 19, will be held at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) in Mumbai. It is designed for teachers affiliated with state or central education boards.
The application deadline is September 11, with submissions to be made via a Google Form on the official HBCSE Olympiad website. HBCSE will prioritize new applicants over those who have previously attended the camp. Selected teachers will be notified on the HBCSE website by September 18.
The camp's primary goal is to enhance teachers' understanding of Olympiad chemistry concepts and the pedagogical approaches employed. It will encompass theoretical and experimental aspects of chemistry, alongside working with problems from the Indian Chemistry Olympiad. Participants are expected to solve and discuss at least one Olympiad problem prior to the camp.
HBCSE will provide reimbursement for eligible round-trip travel expenses, up to a certain limit, and will arrange for food and accommodation for all selected teachers at its Guest House throughout the duration of the camp.
