The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially denied reports of technical difficulties affecting the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets. This refutation comes amid media claims of glitches within the newly implemented On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.
Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, asserted that the evaluation process is proceeding "perfectly" and remains firmly on schedule. He dismissed the alleged issues as inaccurate, expressing pride in the successful rollout of the OSM system, which was introduced for the 2026 board examinations that commenced on February 17.
Bhardwaj further shared positive feedback from educators, noting their satisfaction and even gratitude for the new system. He confirmed that students should expect their Class 12 results to be declared in the third week of May, aligning with the board's prior announcements. This system aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in assessments for the nearly 46 lakh students across India and 26 countries.
