Educators have highlighted specific areas where students often lose marks, such as incorrect IUPAC nomenclature, errors in chemical conversions, missing units in calculations, incorrect oxidation number signs, and misidentification of molecular geometry. The Class 12 examinations commenced on February 17, 2026, and are scheduled to conclude on April 10, 2026. This year's board exams see approximately 10.2 lakh boys and 8.3 lakh girls among the total 25 lakh students.
