The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Buxar commenced a significant 15-day certificate course on Integrated Nutrient Management on August 17, 2026. This initiative is designed to enhance the expertise of farmers and agriculture professionals in advanced nutrient and soil management practices. The comprehensive training program, scheduled to conclude on September 3, 2026, involves 40 participants.
Sessions are structured with 32 theoretical and 12 practical components. Key areas of focus include in-depth nutrient identification, maintaining soil health, and the judicious use of balanced fertilizers. The curriculum also incorporates natural farming methods and principles of crop nutrition, ensuring a holistic approach to agriculture.
Leading experts from ICAR institutes, agricultural universities, and KVKs are facilitating the training. They highlighted the critical role of soil health and scientific fertilization in boosting crop yields and ensuring the long-term ecological sustainability of farming practices. The program aims to foster sustainable agriculture for improved productivity.
