Upon hearing Sita Ram's name, Balbir immediately recognized him. Balbir expressed that he had been searching for his brother for the past 35 years. He then rushed to the school.
The brothers embraced tearfully upon meeting, moving onlookers. Their family had long presumed Sita Ram deceased.
Sita Ram had been living in Punjab, working in a government job after previously serving as a peon. He returned to collect his School Leaving Certificate, which indirectly led to reconnecting with his family.
Officials described the incident as memorable, noting it transcended a mere administrative exercise to become a deeply personal reconnection.
