Summary
- Two brothers secured civil services ranks in their final attempt.
- They resigned from lucrative software jobs to pursue UPSC.
- Their elder sister financially supported them during their studies.

Two brothers from Nalgonda's Chityala achieved a significant milestone, securing civil services ranks in their final attempt. Velimineti Vikram Simha Reddy achieved AIR 541, while his elder brother, Velimineti Vijaysimha Reddy, secured AIR 682. This success followed their recent Group 1 appointments from the state government.
The brothers had resigned from their software jobs five years prior, a decision that entailed considerable sacrifice. During this challenging period, their elder sister, employed by an MNC, provided crucial financial support. Facing familial pressure and mockery, they persevered through repeated failures.
Born to a farming family, their education was funded by their three-acre land. Vikram pursued computer science at Osmania University, while Vijay studied the same at Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology. Despite their shared goal, their preparation methods differed due to distinct study schedules and optional subjects.
