The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially announced the results for the 71st Preliminary Examination. A significant number of 316,762 candidates appeared for the test, which was held across 912 centers in 37 districts. From this pool, 14,261 candidates have successfully advanced to the mains examination stage.
The recruitment drive encompasses a total of 1,264 vacancies for various government positions. Key roles include Senior Deputy Collector, Financial Administrative Officer, and Deputy Superintendent of Police, among others, with substantial numbers of openings for Block Cooperative Officer and Block Minority Welfare Officer.
Despite some rumors of postponement, the examination proceeded as scheduled. The BPSC also addressed concerns regarding technical issues with biometric data capture, assuring candidates that manual attendance records will be considered valid proof.
