15 May
Summary
- Move Out Project collected over 34,000 pounds of donations in 2025.
- Collection tents were set up on Binghamton University campus.
- The initiative aims to ease students' moving process by collecting unwanted items.

The Binghamton Move Out Project recently concluded a successful three-day collection event at Binghamton University. Six tents were established across campus, staffed by volunteers ready to accept donations from students. These items included non-perishable food, personal care products, clothing, and small appliances, helping students manage their move-out.
Founder Christina Fuller explained the organization's mission is to assist students during the hectic end-of-semester period. Recognizing the challenges of finals, graduation, and limited vehicle space, the project makes donating easy. In 2025 alone, the Move Out Project amassed over 34,000 pounds of donations. Collection bins will continue to be available on campus through the end of May.
