Bihar Police Constable Exam: Over 99,000 Candidates Selected for Physical Test

On September 26, 2025, the Bihar Police announced the results for the written exam for the Constable post. According to the official notification, a total of 17,06,628 candidates had registered for the exam, of which 16,73,586 were deemed eligible to appear. Out of these, 13,30,121 candidates appeared for the exam, which was conducted in six phases across 627 centers in 38 districts.
The Central Selection Board (for Soldier Recruitment) had announced 19,838 vacancies for the post of 'Soldier' under the Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. From the pool of candidates who appeared for the written exam, the Bihar Police has now selected 99,690 candidates to proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). To be eligible for the PET, candidates needed to score at least 30% in the written exam.
The selection process is a crucial step in the Bihar Police's efforts to fill the vacancies and strengthen the state's law enforcement capabilities.
