This initiative aims to celebrate Black history and heritage in conjunction with the city's Juneteenth observance.
The trip, costing $15 per student, is limited to 45 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The city is actively seeking sponsorships from local churches, businesses, and organizations to enable more students to attend. Departure is set for 7 a.m. from the City Meeting Center, with an expected return around 5 p.m.
