Andhra Pradesh First State to Offer Canva Education-Wide

Andhra Pradesh has pioneered a significant digital transformation in education by partnering with Canva, offering free access to its platform for all government school students, teachers, and education officials. This initiative, a first in India, aims to equip learners with essential 21st-century skills in digital communication, design thinking, and problem-solving through the creation of presentations, infographics, and videos.

The partnership ensures Canva's integration with the state's LEAP app and Google Workspace, creating a unified digital learning environment. Teachers will receive specialized training, and SCERT will develop curriculum-aligned content in Telugu and English. Privacy safeguards and teacher-controlled AI features are incorporated to ensure student safety.

This collaboration is part of Andhra Pradesh's broader strategy to become a leader in digital learning. The phased implementation across four stages will focus on onboarding, training, classroom adoption, and full-scale integration, benefiting lakhs of students and teachers across the state.
