AI companies view this as an opportunity to engage future leaders and workers. Despite some concerns about AI reducing critical thinking, these companies advocate for a 'Socratic' approach, using AI as a tutor to guide students and foster curiosity.

While established edtech companies like Microsoft and Google are well-positioned due to existing cloud infrastructure, others are partnering with AI labs. However, institutional adoption of AI in education has been slow, with many students reporting limited or only somewhat helpful integration.
