Vishwanath HM has achieved the first rank and secured 12 gold medals in Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. This significant academic accomplishment is the result of years of sacrifice, particularly from his younger brother, Shanmukha.
Originally from a family owning less than an acre of land in Basapura, near Davanagere, Vishwanath's father worked as a commercial vehicle driver. After completing two semesters of a BSc course, Vishwanath decided to pursue civil engineering, a choice that required substantial financial commitment.
Shanmukha stepped up, fully funding Vishwanath's education while continuing his job at a transport company. At Jain Institute of Technology, Vishwanath excelled academically, focusing on both subject comprehension and exam presentation, guided by faculty and family encouragement.
His success is celebrated by Jain Institute of Technology, marking their fourth VTU rank. Vishwanath is now employed with Kalpataru Projects International Limited in Bengaluru, emphasizing the importance of practical experience in civil engineering. He views his medals as a testament to his family's faith and sacrifices.
