Mysterious Drowning: NGO Worker Dies at Private Resort

A 32-year-old woman, identified as Rekha, has died under mysterious circumstances after drowning at a private resort in Chikballapur district. Rekha, employed by an NGO named FES as a water security resource person, was attending a two-day workshop at Nature Resort. The incident occurred on February 23, the first day of the workshop. She reportedly went swimming with five colleagues on the evening of February 23.

Her husband, Raja KV, alleges foul play and gross negligence by FES and Nature Resort management. He received a call from the team head informing him of her drowning. Rekha was pronounced dead at a local hospital. He is demanding a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible for the tragedy. Police have registered a case and are actively investigating the incident.
